Poverty in the Netherlands, in the 1920s and 1930s
Two informative booklets, created by commission of the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences and Flevohuis. These booklets aim to contribute to knowledge about a period that the oldest living Dutch people have experienced and that has significantly shaped them.
These booklets are primarily intended for young people training for or working in elderly care. However, anyone who comes into contact with older adults and is interested in understanding the world of the pre-war generation can benefit from them, for example family carers of older adults living at home. Finally, these booklets may be of interest to the older adults themselves, who will recognize much of the world around them as it was in their youth.
